In her own words

Hello, I’m Avni Trivedi and I work as an Osteopath with a special interest in pregnancy, childbirth, and babies’ health. I have years of experience helping to resolve pre-natal postural issues and discomfort, as well as many common complaints while women are breastfeeding and taking care of their babies. I teach student osteopaths how to help during Pregnancy and Childbirth and have many years experience helping women feel more comfortable during both. I also help parents to solve many common problems with their babies, including colic; not settling well; and/or exhibiting generalised signs of distress and irritability. My interest in bodywork has also lead me to become one of the very limited number of qualified and experienced Zero Balancing practitioners in the UK today. I’m now offering information and advice right here on the phone at Greatvine, so you don’t even have to wait for an appointment to see me.

In all my work, I use a very methodical approach, asking the right kind of questions to discover what the problems involve and which solutions are most likely to help. My experience within two disciplines gives me a very patient centered perspective. Osteopathic practice is a very holistic therapy, with a primary focus on the neurological, muscular and skeletal systems. It uses gentle manual therapeutic techniques to enable patients reach a more optimal state of overall health. Zero Balancing is a method of bodywork which bridges Eastern philosophies of energy work and Western structural approaches. I therefore work from the understanding that calmness and balance are vitally important for improving and maintaining wellness. This means viewing the mind and body as inseparable for optimal health. This is just as relevant for a pregnant woman on the go as it is for a tired mum!

You can speak to me here at Greatvine today for practical, caring advice that addresses your own health needs, or support in caring for your baby. Whether you are pregnant or have had your child or children, together we can create better posture and a greater sense of well-being and comfort within your body. I look forward to taking your call and wish you all the best in the meantime,

Avni
