A registered sports dietitian, Becky’s worked with elite tennis players of British Tennis, plus professional footballers at West Ham FC. She’s also helped hundreds of children as a paediatric dietitian.
I’m a registered dietitian who specialises in paediatric nutrition and sports specific nutritional strategies.
As a paediatric dietitian I specialise in:
As a sports dietitian I specialise in:
As a sports dietitian, I have worked with professional and recreational sports people for the past eight years, including top UK athletes from track and field and British tennis players. I also have experience in football, triathlon, marathon and cycling: I have prepared athletes for the London and New York marathons, the Etape, the Tour de France and the Marathon de Sables.
If you’re interested in improving your nutrition to support your sports training, or would like to have a sports specific eating plan, please get in touch for expert help and advice. I can also advise on sports supplements and ergogenic aids.
In addition to devising sports specific nutritional strategies, I also have a broad experience of paediatrics nutrition and have worked in the main London teaching hospitals. I have treated hundreds of babies and children for many different nutritional problems such as:
• Food allergy
• Failure to thrive
• Premature feeding
• Reflux and cows milk protein allergy
• Weaning and allergy free weaning
• Tube feeding
• Gastrointestinal
• Liver disease
• Childhood obesity
I have supported many families over the years and appreciate that feeding an infant or child can be challenging. I offer a practical approach to feeding infants and children, and have a good knowledge of food, recipe development and meal planning, together with many years of clinical experience.
I started my career as a chef and worked within the industry for six years before studying at university to become a dietitian. I have 14 years of experience as a dietitian and am highly specialised in paediatrics and sports nutrition.
I set up my private practice in 2004 which I run from Central London and from St John and Elizabeth Hospital, St Johns Wood. I cover two NHS clinics weekly for Whittington Hospital NHS Trust and run a weekly private children's feeding clinic with Steph Sollosi (children’s nurse) in Wimpole Street. I also work part-time as Head of Nutrition for British Tennis to provide nutritional strategies to the country's top players. I am currently training to be a Hatha Yoga Teacher at Triyoga London.
"A highly experienced team who were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They were very friendly and approachable and i would strongly recommend the Feeding Clinic."

"Becky Stevenson and Steph Sollosi are like reassuring guardian angels who provide pro-active, positive solutions to feeding issues, backed by extensive experience in paediatric nutrition, but most importantly, to stressed-out parents of a struggling non-thriving newborn, they are a vital support when issues like reflux can be very frightening, lonely, and distressing. Being able to contact them at any time about further concerns is invaluable and we would have felt very lost without them."

"I was referred to the feeding clinic when my son was just a few months old. He was not very interested in eating/drinking and his growth had dropped from the 50% to the 2%. The Feeding Clinic gave me not only sound advise but peace of mind. They put the growth charts in to perspective and helped me relax. They got to know us and our routine, watched us feed, and then offered their expertise. They developed a feeding schedule for my son, taking in to account his sleep habits and his personality.
Change did not happen over night. But it is happening and we are building healthy eating habits for my growing little man. The schedule is constantly evolving as my son develops and the team are quick to recognise the progress and his new needs. We have been working together now for almost 6 months and the change to our lives has been wonderful. The team have been amazing support and are always available via phone or email. Its hard to say thank you enough for their support, advise, and encouragement."
