Teach creative writing classes for WEA
Specialities
I’m particularly able to give feedback in the following areas: getting into print, writing non-fiction articles or books and writing fiction. I write about parenting and health, have also written for the travel and leisure market, and am currently doing quite a lot of work for PR agencies and websites. Running creative writing classes means that I’m used to giving feedback on any number of topics. What I will look at is how you write and what’s holding you back from getting your work published.
In her own words
Writing can be a very lonely experience, and it’s hard to know how well you’re doing without feedback. Friends and relatives will generally give you blanket praise, but this is not as helpful as it might be.
I can offer you constructive criticism; I will give you an honest appraisal of your work, tell you how you could improve, and help you get your work into print.

I have been working as a freelance writer for more than 14 years. I've written several non-fiction books which are all selling well. I also write for magazines and websites, and my first novel has been accepted by a major literary agent in London.
I teach creative writing classes for the WEA, and worked for eight years as a correspondence creative writing tutor.
