Dean is the UK’s only fully qualified male antenatal educator. He Founded DaddyNatal and specialises in supporting expectant and new dads with issues including playing a positive role during labour and life with a newborn.
My antenatal specialisation is geared towards the dads role during pregnancy and birth.
An informed partner is the greatest asset a mum can have during this time.
Key areas of interest are antenatal bonding for dads, how and the benefits.
The partners role during labour, the dos and donts and how to be a positive benefit.
Fears of both Dad and Mum, how to recognise these understand the effects and overcome them.
With new dads, I specialise in those early weeks and months. Dads bonding and the development of baby through developmental baby massage. Specialist techniques in a way that is geared towards dads and ways they will enjoy time with their baby.
I'm Dean Beaumont the only fully qualified male Antenatal Educator in the UK. I have two children Oren and Willow.
I am approved and registered with the Federation of Antenatal Educators (FEDANT) as a teacher and I am also a fully accredited trainer with FEDANT.
From my experiences with the birth of my children, I studied for my Diploma in Childbirth Education, and went on to found DaddyNatal
I am also a qualified Developmental Baby Massage teacher and studied with Peter Walker.
I specialise in working and supporting expectant and new dads. I am a leading expert in working with dads and have featured in the media widely. We have also been commissioned to run NHS classes for dads and look at the outcomes.
I am a firm believer in informed choice and that parents will make the best choices for them as a family, as professionals our job is to give them ALL available information for them to make that decision, regardless of our own opinions.
