In her own words

I qualified as a dietitian and nutritionist in 1997 BSc.(Hons) MSc RD), I am a member of the British Diietetic Assoc. and I am HPC registered.

I am passionate about nutrition. My mission is to provide excellent simplistic advice, hints and tips that can transform mealtimes and menus into healthy, tasty feasts, saving money in the process.

I use my skills as a scientist, cook and mother of 3!

I’ve had extensive hospital and freelance experience, and know that diets, especially medically-restricted diets, can become difficult. Advice from a dietitian can really help in situations like these.

In 2009 I set up an award-winning business and consultancy service -121 Dietitian, inspired by my mother who has had MS since my childhood and along with my experiences as a haematology and oncology specialist, I appreciate it can be difficult to attend appointments if you are housebound or too weak to travel.

In 2011, I completed the Low FODMAP' s Course at Kings College London and now practice this excellent dietary approach with all my IBS patients.

Available within Northern Ireland at our Clinic's and throughout the UK / worldwide via webcam and email, 121 Dietitian allows tailor-made one-to-one advice for individuals, companies and other organisations who require food and nutritional information. Tele-medicine is the way of the future - no need to leave your home or office, and environmentally friendly.

I have a regularly column in the Belfast Telegraph and feature articles in the media, help charity promotions and am a contact for local radio and TV.
