One of our most glamourous experts, Star, has some wise words to remind you to love yourself and stop that little critical voice bringing you down.
As women we are harsher on ourselves than anyone else and this needs to STOP right now. Yes we all have our faults but pointing them out and spending way too much time focusing on them is not going to help you or anyone else around you.
Part of being a true, confident woman is all about embracing our good and not so good parts. There are certain things we can change and there are other things that we can’t. All these things make up you as you are right now. And, let me tell you – you are a pretty amazing darling one.
Whatever we spend our energy on is what we invest in. Now this is important, so I’m going to say it again. Whatever we spend our energy on is what we invest in. So to put it bluntly, if you focus on your faults or the things that you do not like – that is what you are going to draw attention to and therefore think about and attract to your life.
Let it go gorgeous!!! Start focusing on the parts of you that you love! Start celebrating these things and believe me, when you do, you will start to attract more what what you love into your life.
Got it?? Now go and write a list of 5 things you love about your body and pin up somewhere where you can read it morning and night. Whenever you start to point out your flaws – STOP and then tell yourself how fabulous you really are by identifying and celebrating your 5 things you love about yourself.
PS If you have a partner – never point your flaws out to them. If they love you they will accept you for who you are and never try to change you.
