Specialities

I’m an expert who specialises in therapy for:

  • Depression and related areas
  • Anxiety and panic
  • Stress
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder
  • Feeling 'stuck' in life
  • Eating difficulties including anorexia, bulimia and binge eating
  • Coping with health problems such as type-1 and type-2 diabetes

In her own words

Are you feeling 'stuck'? Either about your work, or a relationship, or the direction your life is taking you? Life can sometimes feel like a real struggle. But it needn't be that way - talking to someone can help.

For many people, ‘therapy’ can feel too scary. If this sounds like you, don’t worry, you are not alone. I fully understand this, and so specialise in providing one-off sessions in which you can have the experience of therapy for depression and related areas - without the commitment.

I’m a clinical psychologist with a doctorate in clinical psychology from a British Psychological Society-accredited university. I have a diverse range of experiences in both NHS and private settings.

My warm, calm approach will immediately put you at ease and, by listening to your story, I can help you work out why you are feeling this way, and take steps to make things different.

Many people find that the simple act of telling another person about their life and hearing it reflected back can be therapeutic. I draw on a range of psychological models in my therapeutic style, including cognitive behavioural, psychodynamic, narrative and solution-focused approaches.

I abide by the British Psychological Society code of conduct and ethical principles and am registered with the Health Professionals Council.
