In his own words

Hello, I’m Joe Mulligan and I’m Head of First Aid Education at the British Red Cross, the world’s leading provider of First Aid Education. I help people to learn essential techniques, making it easy to understand, remember and apply them. My experiences as a qualified nurse, ambulance paramedic and expert educator help you to feel confident in many situations. I’m here on the phone at Greatvine to give you concise, clear and above all appropriate skills.

Statistics show that you are more likely to perform emergency assistance on a family member or someone in your social circle rather than on a stranger. Would you know what to do if you found someone unconscious? Would you be the one to step forward and help? If you answered 'no' or need to refresh your skills, please do call me for advice and support. Drawing on my experience as a frontline worker in a wide variety of real life emergencies, I’ll teach you only relevant information, advice and skills. It needn’t be complicated but it can help save someone’s life. I’ll debunk all the myths you may have heard and instead equip you to feel calm, confident, able and willing to assist someone.

As an educator, I understand that each individual has different goals. As an experienced nurse and ambulance paramedic, I also understand the many different reactions people can have when an emergency suddenly happens. Over the years, I have developed and honed a specialist toolkit of readily available appropriate materials for the home, making everything easier to remember and apply.

You may be parent wanting to know how to treat your child. You may be a sports enthusiast, wanting to understand the many simple ways in which you could make a difference. Whatever your needs, I am on hand to answer all your questions and clarify any queries you may have. It gives me tremendous satisfaction to know that my advice can help you cope in an emergency or even save someone's life in the simplest of ways. So please do call me at Greatvine today to talk about how simple specialist First Aid training can make you feel more confident - and ultimately more likely to step forward and help. Best regards,

Joe

Caller feedback

"Joe, your extensive experience in first aid and helping people is reflected in the way you teach first aid. You are friendly, approachable and practical. You teach life saving skills like no other, and are clearly very committed to helping people save lives. I put what you had taught me into practice when my daughter started to choke. My immediate response to her choking just wouldn't have been so instinctive had you not told me what to do."
Happy Mother
