More about me
Hello, I am Julie Gaudion and I am a qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist. This therapy works by exploring what lies beneath our actions and repetitive patterns of behaviour, looking at how the past affects the present: our relationships, our work and our feelings. If you have issues you feel you would like some sensitive and professional help with, please do call me at Greatvine today to begin to talk them over.
I have very extensive experience working with areas in which adults can experience both profound problems and create profound change. I have specialist training around how drug and alcohol addiction affects not only the individual but also those who are close to them. My work has also involved offering help for many other difficult and sensitive issues. My clients may need advice to overcoming the effects of domestic and/or sexual abuse, whether that was experienced in their childhood or in their adult life. I have worked with people who have been trying to manage their self-harming or other types of upsetting compulsive behaviours. Other clients have found themselves behaving in challenging and disruptive ways that they themselves have not fully understood, and have found tremendously distressing and destructive. Some have been diagnosed with a personality disorder; others have found themselves within the criminal justice system due to mental health disorders. Over the years, I have developed and refined specialist understanding of anger management. These can help my clients to cope more readily with the many challenges in their lives, creating more space to start positively working through some of their other important issues.
For professionals working with mental health, you can also now call me at Greatvine to discuss your needs around staff training. In addition to my PGCE in Health & Social Services Management, my work in this area is supported by experience from my own long managerial career in NHS and not for profit social care adult mental health services.
Whatever you might appreciate some expert help and advice with, please do pick up the phone and call me at Greatvine today. I will listen to your issues without any form of judgement and explain how you could begin to move forward through your problems. I look forward to the opportunity of hearing from you and helping you to discover some answers to your concerns.
