I have experience in both adult and paediatric (infants, children and adolescents) dietetics and am experienced in treating patients with the following conditions: • Infant nutrition: premature babies, fussy eaters, weaning, reflux, infant colic, diarrhoea, constipation, breast or bottle feeding advice • Teenage nutrition • School-age nutrition • Faltering growth • ADHD and behavioural problems • Weight management and obesity • Eating disorders - anorexia nervosa
I graduated from the University of Surrey with a BSc in nutrition and dietetics in 2005. Since then I’ve worked as a registered dietitian in the NHS, performing roles in adult and paediatric dietetics, across hospital and community environments.
Following my passion in the field of paediatric dietetics, I’m now a specialist in the area of infant, child and adolescent nutrition. That means I deal with a range of nutritional and health-related issues, ranging from obesity and eating disorders to allergies and nutritional deficiencies. I’ve attended several postgraduate courses in paediatric dietetics to enhance my knowledge and skills.
Alongside my interest in paediatrics, my NHS roles have supported a continued practice of adult dietetics and I also offer a consultancy service for children and adults. I have a wide breadth of experience and knowledge in both adult and child nutrition.
