Hi, my name is Marie. Since 1995, I’ve run a company called FitMama Ltd, the pregnancy exercise specialist, where I work closely with pregnant and postnatal women. I give women the tools to understand their pregnant bodies, to learn how to keep fit and well during pregnancy, and to enable themselves a better chance of a safer delivery - with less intervention. I also teach women how to repair the core damage done during pregnancy and labour.

As a mum of two, I know exactly what you are going through and can advise you on the best course of action for a safe and healthy pregnancy and recovery. As well as being a registered Adult Fitness Tutor, I’m also Editor for the Guild of Pregnancy and Postnatal Teachers.
I work closely with midwives and other health professionals to bring positive education to women, and I have lots of experience with women who have suffered issues such as: diabetes, miscarriage and still birth, as well as skeletal issues which have required medical support.
The FitMama Team of experts aims to bring education and physiological awareness to mums in the community, both in our courses and one-to-one private sessions. The sessions are exercise based, however we also focus on breathing and delivery techniques, as well as relaxation.
We are committed to educating women during pregnancy and postnatally to safeguard the pelvic floor and repair any damage that has been done. Our mission is to save you from any surgery in later life due to neglect of the pelvic floor, and to help you get the healthy delivery you want.
