I’m a qualified quantity surveyor and owner of a construction and development company, with over 25 years experience in the construction industry.
After training as a quantity surveyor I worked for several national building contractors in London, Leeds and Edinburgh, reaching the role of commercial director for a leading national construction company.
I then established my own building and development company, which I still run, which works on a wide variety of projects from extensions to houses to flatted developments.
Over the years I’ve gained experience in all aspects of the construction industry. I can give you advice on all points of the building process, from planning, employing architects, quantity surveyors, builders and how to reduce your costs and exposure to the pitfalls of building.
