Hello, I’m Nicky Anstey and I’ve been working as a Registered Nutritionist (with the Association for Nutrition) for 15 years now. I’ll help you by providing advice and information based on up to date, credible scientific & medical evidence. My specialist areas include eating for optimal well being, plus how to safely and permanently lose weight. I also have a wealth of knowledge around nutrition in pregnancy, post-natal nutrition and the early years, including weaning. For other parents, I provide information and advice on healthy eating, including for children who are fussy eaters.
I have a Nutrition and Biological Science degree and I’ve worked in a Dietetics department and with a health promotion team in the NHS. I also have extensive experience developing school meals, including special diets for school children with allergies, intolerances and medically diagnosed conditions. I’ve been a Senior Nutritionist within professional catering, specialising in education / school meals. I’ve also run many Weaning workshops and consultations for individuals and groups, plus worked as a ‘Nutrition and Allergy Expert’. I can help you if you want to safely lose weight and gain valuable advice to avoid putting it back on again - for good. I’m also here for anyone looking to improve their energy and concentration levels and understand how to reduce stress and/or anxiety through stabilising your mood and your hormones through your daily diet. For mums to be, I can be your advisor on the latest scientific information on eating for pregnancy and birth. You can also get support around vital aspects of feeding your baby, including a summary of the many weaning methods; when to start; what foods to avoid and provide; advice on milk feeding; what you need to get before you start; recipe suggestions; and practical expert guidance on the most up to date research out there. Whether you want support for your own diet or for your family’s, I’m here at Greatvine to give you practical, safe and reliable help. I look forward to working with you,
