A qualified nutritionist with extensive experience in working in primary schools means that Ross can advise on food issues that families face, ranging from fussy eating and food fads to newly-diagnosed diabetes.
I can offer advice on any food- or nutrition-related issue that causes people problems.
Key specialities relate to healthy eating and a balanced diet for a healthy lifestyle. My extensive experience of working in schools means I can give advice on areas such as healthy lunch boxes, how to handle a fussy eating child, and food fads.
I can also help food-related disorders that cause worry and panic, such as newly-diagnosed diabetes, high cholesterol, heart disease and anaemia.
Another area of focus is healthy food shopping on a budget, and I know about all aspects of the National Healthy Schools Programme.
I am a fully qualified and registered nutritionist. Since obtaining a BSc (Hons) in nutrition in 2007, I’ve worked for Brentwood Extended Services helping children and families with a range of personal, social, emotional health and nutrition-related issues in 32 local schools. Plus, I work independently with other Essex primary schools and do other one-to-one nutrition support work.
