- Postnatal depression
- Antenatal depression
In her own words
If you’re a new parent or are expecting a baby, do you feel overwhelmed with information? I’m here to give you the right advice at the right time as you start your new life with a new baby. As a health visitor with over 13 years’ experience, a mum of two and founder of The Baby Book, I’m an expert you can trust.
I want to guide, advise and support you, so you have the confidence to make your own decisions about what’s right and not right for your kids. My background is in sick children's and general nursing, so I have years of knowledge that can really make a difference to you. As I’m a health professional as well as a parent, I give advice that’s based on evidence and on common sense.
For the last eight years I’ve helped mums (and dads) suffering from antenatal and postnatal depression. My aim is to provide you with a listening ear. I won’t be shocked by what you say and I won’t judge you for what you share. Instead, I’ll support you and guide you, and help you get the help that you may need from others.
