Hello, I’m Soozi Hadj Lazib and I’m a Maternity Leave Career Coach. I help women decide on their post maternity leave career aims. And then we work towards tangibly achieving those aims. My expert coaching services are now available over the phone at Greatvine, to ensure that you are fully supported to manage this life changing transition and follow your own unique path.
Having a baby turns your career priorities upside down. Rather than ignore it or try to work round it, I’ll help you face it head on and reprioritise your working life around your family. That may mean supporting you through a return to work, a promotion, a change of career, or starting your own business. I'm a mum of twins myself and I returned to work when they were just 6 months old, as I was the main earner in my family. However, I was also planning and working towards starting my own business during my maternity leave. After a year in work, I left full time employment to work for myself, running two separate businesses. I believe that rather than being a career obstacle, maternity leave is the perfect time to develop your career and move forwards with it - whichever direction 'forwards' might be.
In employment, I was a specialist in training and coaching people through technological change. Since those days, I've focused those coaching and support skills towards other new mums who are returning to work, changing career, or starting a business. And for business or a blog, I’m an advisor on technology to give you both competence and confidence. I also love working to develop your ideas: discussing them, opening them up, developing them and challenging them. Then I’ll support you to make them really happen through practical steps. I'm well versed in maternity rights (although please note not as a legal expert) and can coach you through the practical side of things as well as the emotional side. Having been a manager and worked on the Learning & Development/HR side of things I'm also here to assist with advice on job interviews, CVs and searching for a new job or promotion.
No one should have to make this sort of life change alone, so a spot of specialist coaching at this time is probably just what you need. We can assess your skills and experience, identify your goals, and work through the practical obstacles to achieving your potential. So please, do give me a call at Greatvine today for advice, options, ideas and inspiration. Until then, my warmest wishes,
Soozi
