Terry’s a career and business coach with 25 years experience of working with a range of clients, from graduates / post graduates to senior managers. He’s skilled in career transition, interview techniques and creating a winning CV.

In his own words

I’m a professionally qualified career coach (and advanced guidance practitioner with the ICG), and have specialised in this field for over 25 years.

Since becoming a freelance consultant in 1997 I’ve worked on a variety of career management projects including a virtual career coach with Maze 8 Consulting, which involved working with unemployed professionals in one-to-ones and workshops.

I’ve also been a senior outplacement consultant with Capita People Development, working primarily with senior/middle managers, and a career consultant/coach in six UK universities working with under- and postgraduates as well as coaching senior staff on interview technique.

Since 2006, I’ve been a visiting lecturer at Vilnius and Mykolas Romeris Universities in Lithuania, working on career management programmes with postgraduate students and staff. I’ve also delivered career management programme at a university in Israel.

Another role is career coaching to private clients through my own company, g2 Career Consulting.

I previously worked as a senior HR manager (NHS) where I specialised in management development and coaching senior managers.

My work is very client-centred and I try to develop a ‘partnership’ approach when working with people.
